Ashiokai joined Vodafone Ghana in April, 2016 as Director of Human Resources. She is an accomplished Human Resource professional with over 20 years global HR experience leading transformational change in Africa, Europe and the United States. 

 She started her career in Marketing with Multimedia Broadcasting Company, Ghana and went on to Ernst & Young, where she worked in a consulting capacity with the HR Advisory team. She also worked in various functional and business partnering HR roles at Medtronic, a world leader in medical device technology and Honeywell USA. She has worked in different countries with Fortune 100/500 companies, which has contributed to her  global outlook and world class HR best practices.

She has a BSc in Marketing from the University of Ghana and a Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, USA and the IAG School of Business, Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium.

Ashiokai has been recognized severally and globally as a leading HR professional as well as for her work championing initiatives for women in the workplace and her community.
